This is a fair question! You made it this far which means you are willing to give back and pay it forward. There are many ways you can help with our efforts without taking too much of your busy life. Promotes self-improvement; oversees mentoring, professional development award, retreats and workshops/conferences. Vote of Registration.
Certify membership, recruit new members, orient new members, plan and arrange membership events, send notices to members while implementing activities as needed to raise funds for the Scholarship and Endowment Foundation.
Promotes scholarship, develops relationships with colleges, participates in college fairs, reviews and awards scholarships to deserving Hispanic women attending college. Reaches out to past awardees to help keep awareness of past recipients success.
Communicates HWL events to members and community through all social media, email, etc. Inform members of community events to participate and represent the HWL, such as educational fairs, parades, community support relies, etc. Maintains web page and tracking level of engagement.
Overseer and line of contact for all matters concerned with the Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner and works closely with Fundraising and Scholarship.
Oversees parliamentary procedures, election.
Promotes fellowship among members.
