Dear Friends of the Community,
 
It is our pleasure to invite you to submit a nomination for our HWL Community Leadership Awards. Selected recipients will be honored at our Annual Scholarship Awards Event, October 2, 2021 at Acqua Restaurant and Banquet Center.
 
The awards recognize outstanding service and achievement of community leaders and/or organizations.
 
We will be giving out two awards recognizing individuals and/or organizations who are truly dedicated to improving the growth and success of the Latinx/Hispanic community. Please consider nominating those who play this important role and meet at least one of the criteria listed below: 

• Has a direct and noteworthy role in the professional growth of the Latin/Hispanic community
• Brought about significant change for Latinx/Hispanics in our community, local government, civil society, healthcare or education systems
• Serves as an inspirational mentor and/or role model
• Is a life-long leader who exemplifies values of fearless leadership
• Has shown a track record for supporting the growth of the Hispanic Women’s League

To put forward a nomination, please write a thorough description of how the individual or organization has made a substantive difference in effecting significant change in the Latinx/Hispanic community and/or supporting the Hispanic Women’s League. Please include some background and history on the nominee and how the individual/and or organization complements the work and mission of the Hispanic Women’s League. Include your name, contact information as well as the full name and contact information for the nominee.
